Des eeped, knelt down and hunched over the child, hiding it under her.

Des sat up, looking down at the child. Not being able to think of what she could or wanted to say, Des picked up the child, and sat back down in her large cushiony chair.

Gary folded his arms, drumming his fingers. "So... where'd you get it?"

"I.. I can't tell you." Des said.

"It's mine, and I can't tell you who the father is... Not yet." Des shook her head, but smiled to herself.

Gary glared at Des and pulled out Steel...
but instead turned and exited. Less than a minute later, the sounds of birds being shot out of the sky was heard.

Des flinched with every gun shot, holding the child. "I'll call you... Jessy." She whispered.

Des looked out the window. She took deep breaths, thinking. Her eyes flashed, sending a quick message to Jill.
Jill casually walked outside, and saw Gary almost immediately. Walking over, she just watched.

Gary continued to fire, more birds dying. One of them landed on Jill's head.

Jill closed her eyes. "I see you've met my child. The one Des is taking care of?" She asked, shuddering.

"You're a poor liar." Gary said. "Least convincing lie since Mussolini 'accidentally' invaded abyssinnia."

"You should tell my mother I'm a poor liar then. She sent me. Anyway, I know the story.. and I just wanted you to know that..." Jill paused. "That you have to let the baby live and say it's yours. When you saw my mother through those goggles... what did you see?"

"I saw her with a baby, what else would I see?" He shrugged. "I have no idea what she said though, I don't lip-read."

"Think Gary. Think about what you sae.. Did you see her face? The way she acted? Or does the infra blue goggles act like heat vision gogles?"

"No, they act like eyes that see through walls." Gary told her. "But it was difficult to see. I think I messed up a few settings."
Three gunshots, three dead seagulls.

Gary nodded. "Fine." He said, shoving his SMGs in his pockets, not bothering with the safety switch. He walked down to Des' room.
