The sound of a truck was heard outside, a signal for beefs. Daray climbed out of the truck, as did some strange girl, following her only a bit shorter than her. Daray spoke to the girl breifly before grabbing three large boxes from the back of the pick up truck, and the girl just stood there, staring at the extra large box that was left for her to carry up two long flights of stairs. The girl grabbed the box. The way she was holding it, from the bottom, she could barely see over the top, but she followed Daray obediantlly... until she got to the stairs. The girl carefully felt her way slowly up the stairs. When she was a 14 of the way up, Daray was already on the second stairs case.
Finally reaching the top, the girl took a long breath, and put the box down, sitting on it for a while, a minute tops before standing up and bending backwards, her head nearly touching the back of her knees. IT was clear that this girl was VERY flexable. She sighed again, closing her purplish red eyes, and lifted the box. Sadly, she was so close to the stop step, that she began to tumble backwards, gravity threatening to pull her down the stairs.

"Careful." A voice told the girl, as a hand stopped her from falling. Gary had fortunately been passing. He was without his trademark Black mage hat today, and wearing a pair of blue camo combat trousers that he'd gotten for Christmas. Slung over his shoulder was a minigun- a 2000-round-a-clip beauty of a minigun at that. "Haven't seen you around here before. You should really be more careful."

The girl looked at him with her red-purple eyes, and nodded, her black bangs hanging once more infront of her eyes. Her black hair was tied back in a pony tail and she looked at the box, blushing lightly. "Th-thanks..." She suttered, before noticingly using most of her energy to get a better grip on the box that was half her hight, and carry it towards the stairs.

Gary rolled his eyes. "Here, let me." He said, taking the box from the girl. "Where does this box have to go?" He asked, looking around.

"The k-kitch-chen..." The girl said, casting her eyes down and pointing up the stairs. She wore a maroon turtleneck and a pair of black formal jeans that had dirt on the knees.

Gary nodded, heading towards the kitchen. "Here, you'd best tag along so people don't think I stole it or something." He told her. "Besides, I could use the company."

The girl kept her head down, obviously blushing lightly out of embarrassment. She didn't say anything, and didn't smile. she just followed him anyway.

Gary raised an eyebrow. "Is there a problem?" He asked. "Oh, how rude of me, I forgot to introduce myself. My name's Gary."

The girl nodded, and said ever so quietly. "I'm T-timber..." She said, still following him.

Gary smiled. "Nice to meet you Timber." He walked on, and Alien began following the pair.
Alien sniffed, still following them. "That smells like Beefs..." He said with a grin.

Daray stood at the top of the stairs. "Oh, I was wondering what was taking you so long, Timber. Met a new friend already?" Daray asked, and Timber just nodded.
Daray looked to Gary. "Sorry for the trouble, she's awfully shy," She told him, and smiled at Alien. "And yes, it's your beef."

Gary shrugged. "Meh, I'm used to it. The whole black face and yellow eyes thing tends to make most people suddenly shy around me."
Alien smiled, hugging Daray's leg. "Thank you!"

Daray smiled at Alien, then looked at Gary, shaking her head. "No, no.. she's just been that way since I found her... By the way, I was goign to have her stay here. Seen Des anywhere? Usually she's the first one I see," Daray said, looking curiously around.
Timber raised her head slightly to glance at Gary.

Gary shook his head and sighed. "I haven't seen her since that Christmas Bash.... I'm really getting worried."
Alien frowned, hugging Gary's leg. "Don't worry, I'm sure she'll come back."

Daray frowned. "That's really bad... last time she ran off..." Daray shook her head. "No.. I'm sure she'll come back alive this time," Daray offered a smile.
A gentle small hand touched Gary shoulder, as if comforting. Timber was looking up at him, about 6 inches shorter.

Gary smiled weakly. "Yeah...." He seemed to cheer up suddenly. "If you'll excuse me a minute, I have some things I need to deal with." He said, leaving.
Alien sighed. "He just hasn't been the same since Des went..."

Alien sighed. "He just seems to not give a damn about anything anymore. I mean, we even got Sarge to put a cigarette out on the back of his hand, and he barely even flinched. I coughed up blood - acidic blood- over his leg, and he just shrugged it off."

Alien blinked, looking at Daray, then Timber, then Daray again. "Why do I get the feeling I'm missing something important here?"
