Charlotte sat at a piano, in the center of a fairly large, very empty room. Her fingers pressed gentally against the snow white keys of a grand piano. As she continued to play the sound of Gravity (from Wolf's Rain) flowed from the piano echoing in the room. A few minutes into the song she began singing, "Been a long road to follow Been there and gone tomorrow Without saying goodbye to yesterday Are the memories I hold still valid? Or have the tears deluded them? Maybe this time tomorrow The rain will cease to follow And the mist will fade into one more today Something somewhere out there keeps calling Am I going home? Will I hear someone singing solace to the silent moon? Zero gravity what's it like? Am I alone? Is somebody there beyond these heavy aching feet Still the road keeps on telling me to go on Something is pulling me I feel the gravity of it all.." She continued playing the piano after she finished the lyrics. Playing the same tune. (If you wanna hear the song it's here: www.fxdm.net/cartoon/music/wolf's%20rain/OST1/20.mp3 Just minus the extra instroments and the japanese accent. Last time I checked Charlotte can't play 50 different instroments at once. And she's not Japanese. xD )

The noise of violins clattering together was heard, and Josie came out of the shadows, a green violin in hand. The other hand had a bow. "Charlette? May I... play with you?" She asked quietly, holding up her violin.

Charlotte smiled at her still playing. "Of corse!" She started singing the lyrics again.

Josie smiled, raising her violin to her chin. Knowing the song, she knew the violin came in about half way, waited and pulled the rosened bow along the wire strings softly.

Charlotte smiled and continued singing the song curious as to wether anyone else was lurking around watching her. Originally she had thought she was alone, but aparently not.

Josie had her eyes closed, knowing the song but not knowing how to play it, she played by ear, harmonizing. After a while, she wondered when the song would end, but smiled, just continuing.

A few minutes after the lyrics ended Charlotte made an aburupt stop, streatching her fingers "I haven't played in so long." She looked at her scared up hands and sighed.

"Thanks" Charlotte turned in her seat to face Josie, "you're a really good violinist." She smiled standing up.

Josie shrugged. "I only played by ear... I didn't know the song."

"Wow! That's amazing! I'm not to keen with the violin. I've always been more of a piano person myslef." She smiled tilting her head.
