The legend goes this way... and it is told by only one teller to children who'd like to hear it. For god boys and girls, mortal and Demon alike, who hope for love and peace. This story is told by the peace maker of the Four Kingdoms, and yet... for a short time, it was told by two women. The balance was broken. A rip was torn in a way that no one noticed - not even unnatural activity.
The legend states - as is told by the teller -
A mortal woman, outcast of her kind, walked the earth, roaming for the someone she'd met only in her dreams...
On the other side of the world was a Demon, popular and a hero of the 30-year War. He had all the girls he could want, and yet none of them satisfied him. He, too, roamed the earth, just searching.
Well, the woman got there first - to the Rose Bridge. At that time, the banks were full of Roses, and of all different collors. She looked at the bridge, feeling uneasy. Little did she know, that this bridge connected our two worlds. The mortals, and the Demons. She picked the roses, and gently tossed the pettles one by one into the stream that ran under the rather small bridge.
Then, one day, the Demon came to the edge of his world, and saw the girl, crying. Feeling comapssion, he went to her, comforting her... from then on, they met there, everyday, tossing a rose over the edge everyday, symbolizing their unity. Years went by, and they had four kids. These children later became the four kings and Queens of Nature.
The blind girl sat on the railing of this bridge, swingign her pale legs. No, it wasn't Jill. The girl wore a green, somewhat sexy suit. It was Jessy, in her warrior's outfit. The barren land around the bridge was no more the patch of roses... no flowers grew there anymore. In fact, the forest for about 20 feet from the area was now dead- and the feeling was contagious. But Jessy wasn't going to let it get to her, she smiled at her reflection in the even smaller creek.
Though, she was sort of sad that she was living on her own, she was in between jobs, and that she hadn't a boyfriend at all - but she didn't complain, just went on with her life. Y'know?
