The child wrinkled her nose, but nodded her head sadly as the nasty face dissapeared."Yes, Daddy." She sighed, frowning towards her mother - who was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. "Tell Mumma I love her."

"I will honey. I love you, darling," Fluke muttered to his daughter, looking at her sadly and then baking away. Just turn your back and walk towards Dylindra... Just walk away... he told himself, turning away from Katun and the child. He looked toward Dylindra, filling his mind with how beautiful she was instead of thinking of his child. IT was easier this way.

Upon seeing Fluke turn his back, Katun himself turned and walked away - squirming child held tightly in his arms.
Dylindra watched the scene, never moving from that one spot she'd been in - the same spot she'd been standing in when her child had been taken from her arms. The same spot where she'd had to stay while watching Fluke hand their daughter over. The same spot she had no want to, nor the will to, move from for quite some time.

Fluke walked right up to her, looking down at the sand and wrapped his arms around Dylindra's shoulders, hugging her gently. He took a moment, his body getting goosebumps as he buried his face into her shoulder, eyes wet. "She said..." he started, sniffing, "She wanted me to tell you that she loves you..."

Dylindra started to shake slightly, head shifting in a downward motion to allow her bangs to hide her eyes. What was she to say to that? She couldn't say, "Tell her I love her too," because it was too late for that. Her daughter was already gone. Nothing she could have said would have done anything at that momment, and she feared if she opened her mouth she'd start a delayed reaction of hysteria.

Fluke raised his head, but wouldn't look at Dylindra. "Hey, Dee... I'm going for a swim, alright?" he asked, letting go of her. "I suggest you go home and go to bed.. you look tired and you deserve the rest... I'll give you a spa night tonight." He told her, smiling at her but not looking at her. "I'll have Des help out with your pampering. You really deserve it, hun. I love you,"

Dylindra remained silent a momment, before reaching out and taking his hands. Cradling it gently between hers - all was cool and pale but now seemingly sickly from her shaking- she gave a tiny half smile at nothing inparticular. "Don't hurt yourself out there. Becareful not to step on anything, or get caught in the undertow."

Fluke understood her emotions and put a hand against her face. "Want me to take you home, Dee?" he asked smiling lovingly at her. "I'll pamper you, I promise. I'll put you in that hot tub with bubbles and bath crystals, ok?" Fluke kissed her forehead.

Dylindra's gaze fell to the sand, and she smiled softly as she played with a lock of his hair absent mindedly. "That...sounds lovely. But I shouldn't be taking away from your swim time. I'll just sit here, right here, and wait for you to be done first."

"Oh, I'll get my swim time. I'll sit with you in the hot tub, cuddle with you," Fluke said, smiling lovingly at her. Anything to calm her mind down. Anything to just sit with her and comfort her. "Come," he said, taking her heand, "Let's go home."

Dylindra allowed him to take her hand, allowed him to pull her arm to it's full lenght - but didn't budge. She paused, looking down to the sand around her feet, then over her shoulder - as her back was now turned to the scene of the events. A low whimper was heard in her throat, but after a few seconds she forced her legs to move - stiffly- foreward.

Fluke didn't rush her. He waited patiently, taking one step at a time like he would teahing a child to walk. "C'mon now... Just walk away, Dee... Iknow it's hard..." he whispered to her, an arm around her shoulder now.

Dylindra took slow steps foreward, having to resist the urge to whip around and run the other way. Though, there was nothing much to run to. Infact, nothing at all. For Katun and her child were long since gone. Sighing deeply, she eased into a normal walking pace, now standing beside Fluke and resting her head against him as she walked.
