"Hmmm..." Rabbit pressed a finger to his lips, tipping his head back and forth. "Let's see....there's Atlas, and Vend, and my baby brother Dusty. And there powers ar-"
From behind him, a vase appeared from nowhere - smashing against the back of his head. Rabbit shrieked, grabbing his head before looking around -eyes filled partially with tears. "What was that?! Who did that?!"
The answer came from a rather small child, who appeared beside him suddenly and slammed his foot into Rabbit's shin. "Too much information, you dolt!!!" The little boy screamed, waving his arms in an overdramatic manner. "Do you EVER think before you speak?! EVER?!"

Aislin blinked, looking between the two. Obviously there was Dusty and Rabbit before her and she jsut stared, watching them co-exist with eachother for a moment before asking. "Hello, little sire, are you Dusty?"

The tiny boy, Dusty, whipped around to glare at her. "That's my name, and I'm NOT little!!" He snapped, nose wrinkling.
"Really now? You look like a small fry to me," Fathom replied smuggly, but yelped suddenly as something seemed to shove her from behind. She stumbled, falling flat on her face.
Dusty smirked, snickering slightly, while Rabbit continued to rub at his head and whine like a baby.

Aislin tilted her head and gave a fake smile, also known as a royal smile. "Oh, I'm sorry, I've ben mistaken Dusty." She apologized. "You are quite large, Dusty. I'm sorry I was so blind."

Dusty narrowed his eyes at Aislin, the fur along his tail - bushy and striped like a little tiger's tail- bristling. "Stop mocking me. I can see through that fake smile of yours...." he paused, allowing a smirk to slide across his face, " Aislin."

Aislin stopped smiling and stood up, towering over Dusty but not threateningly, just standing up straight as her mother had taught her. "Oh? You read minds?" She asked, blinking though still no expression.

"No, someone wrote your name across your face. Of course I read minds, you idiot." He replied, eyes narrowed at this "older" girl. "I've had a hundred and three years worth of time to waste, what do you think I did? Sat around and palyed with Legos?"
Rabbit picked up his head suddenly, sniffling. "Now who's the one giving out too much info?"

Aislin looked to Rabbit and asked, "Are you alright, Rabbit? I could heal you if you wanted me to," she offered, holding out a hand to him about as comfortable as a mother with her child.

Rabbit whined slightly, taking a step foreward only to have Dusty step in the way. "I think not!" The boy, looking only about the age of three, replied for his older brother. "We'll be going now. Back to working on our plans to dominate this house."
"Over my dead body!" Fathom snapped suddenly, pushing herself up from the floor. Reaching foreward, she grabbed Dusty by the bandana tied around his neck. "Listen up, you twerp. You run back to your little hide away in the attic, and tell your jack-ass brother's to clear out! None of ya'll were ever welcomed here, and you still ain't."

Aislin stepped back, looking at Rabbit then at the other two. She didn't want to interfere except her curiousity... "Rabbit, may I see the older two brothers?" she asked, tilting her head. "I would like to speak with them and meet them if I may,"

Fathom whipped around, about to say something, but was cut off by Rabbit. The boy practically jumped foreward, wrapping his arms around both Aislin and Fathom. "Sure! C'mon!" Before a single person could react or protest, Rabbit dragged them foreward into a hole that seemed to appear from nowhere.
---
A momment later they appeared in a dark, danky area. It was clear this was the attic. After exiting the tunnel of trippy light- Rabbit didn't seem too keen on letting either of them go. But his hug wasn't...creepy. It was more or less friendly. "Here we are! Home sweet home!"
Fathom groaned, pressing a hand to her forehead. The tunnel had obviously caused her head and eyes some major pain.

Aislin had no reaction at all, just sighed and looked about. "Interesting place... looks like an ordinary attic to me," she told him, looking at him. "So, where are the other two brothers?"

"Right here," A deep and rather dark voice replied. From a little ways off a light turned on, a small naked bulb hanging by the wires from the ceiling. In the light there was a boy, his entirety made of blue tones, leaning against an old crate. Actually...this was no boy, but a man - nearly if not already thirty years of age. This boy was the eldest, Atlas Clockwise. "Vend isn't here right now," Atlas muttered softly, his pale blue lips barley moving. "Rabbit?"
"Yes brother?"
"...Why don't you let go of them now?" Atlas questioned, picking up his head to look at the boy.
Rabbit paused, blinking. "Oh! Right!" With that, he let go of Aislin and Fathom, taking a step back.

[i[He might not take me seriously if I only look 16.... time for my true age, the age my mother bestowed onto me,[/i] Aislin thought glumly, and turned to her real age, about 24 years old so that the kingdom wouldn't get suspicious of Despereaux having a daughter within the past two years. Besides, the rest of the servants were 24 but Aislin hadn't been treated like one in private. She turned her grey eyes to the blue boy. Heh. Grey girl, Blue boy.. how ironic. o.O
Anyway, Aislin looked to Atlas. "I'm assuming you're Atlas? The eldest one, correct?" she asked, curtsying out of habit to him.

Atlas gave a simple nod of the head. "That's right. I'm Atlas. And you aren't of this family, now are you?" He paused, looking between Fathom and Aislin. "Hmmm...I do sense some sort of familiarity though. There's a common tie that binds you, but not directly. Am I right?"
"Pssh, how would I know?" Fathom questioned, raising her eyebrow.

Aislin looked at Atlas, almost startled but stood up straight calmly. "I wouldn't think so, sir," Aislin said tilting her head to the side as she'd picked up was common betweent eh younger boys. "I do have some questions to inquire..."

"Go ahead and ask your questions, young miss." Atlas said with a nod, eyes hidden behind his veil of thick hair.

"Why do you boys need this house as your own? What's so special about the Queen of the West's old house?" Aislin inquired, walking closer to him just to get an essence of who she was talking to. "There's another large house right accross the Rose Bridge."

"Yes yes, we saw that house. But that one's a bit too big." Atlas responded, turning his gaze towards the low ceiling. The hair shifted from his face a bit, and his mouth opened slightly in his momment of silence - as if he were making an attempt at planning his words. "This one's of the perfect size. Much like our previous home. "Besides, this house, all though torn and tattered," he paused, a slight smile playing in the corner of his mouth, "holds the essence of family. There are pictures all over the wall. Everywhere you turn, you can see signs of the family that once lived here. Because everyone up and left, there are children's toys scattered in the hallways, half finished fingerpaint projects in their rooms..." By this point, Atlas seemed...gone. Like he was off in another world. His voice had taken on a dreamy air, as if he were lost in some fond memories.
Rabbit took a step foreward, leaning over Aislin's shoulder. Bringing a hand up to sheild the side of his mouth opposite her ear, he whispered in an almost mocking tone, "He's a REAL sucker for lovey-dovey family junk."

Aislin tilted her head to the side. "Family? Oh.. Right.. I know what family is.. I don't see why you care so much about family," Aislin monotoned, shrugging. "Kale's family, the one before... well, they upt and left because there was something dangerous that could have killed them." Aislin looked at Rabbit and whispered into his ear, "Please, may you take Fathom to another room right now? I need to speak to your eldest brother, and I do not want to scare anyone."
