Sarge was waiting in the firing range, a cigarette in his mouth and a pile of pistols behind him, all without clips inside. He checked his watch, tapping his foot impatiently.

Ryu arrived at 12:03, somewhat exausted, but he had flown and glided most of the way, which was less exausting that running. "Reporting for duty, Sir." He said, standing front and center and saluting.

"Don't bother with that saluting." Sarge told him. "We ain't in the army now." He folded his arms and stamped out the cigarette. "We'll just wait for the others..."

Jill appeared soon after, hanging her head. Walking up to Sarge, she muttered in his ear, "No one else..." She paused. "Is.. er... in.. No one else is attending class today.."

Sarge looked at Jill. "What about you?" He asked, lighting up another cigarette.

Ryu lowered his hand to his side, and waited for class to officaily start.

Jill stood beside Ryu, turning to look at Sarge, half glaring. She hated the fact that he knew EXACTLY what she was talking about yet... She had her mind on other things.

Sarge picked up a pistol- a copper plated six-shot revolver. "Alright then." He said. "Just us three, so that means I don't have to keep an eye on many. "He tossed a revolver at each of their feet. One had a shorter barrel than the other. "Let's start by seeing how much you know about guns. One of those guns won't fire. You have five minutes to find out why. And it's not to do with the ammo." Sarge said, rolling up his sleeve and staring at his watch. "Time starts now."

Jill looked at the one with the shorter barrel, eyebrow raised she had a good feeling about that one but... she looked at the other two. Something might have been wrong with them that she couldn't see at first glance.
"Mind if I watch?" A whisper came from beside Sarge. Des appeared there.

Ryu looked at all of them though x-ray,heat, radiation, and another vision that was completly random in it's purpose. One day it could be heat, and the other it could be somthing no one had ever heard of.

Sarge nodded at Des, stepping forward and taking both pistols, twirling them. "So, what do you think?" He asked Ryu and Jill.

Sarge shook his head and removed the barrel from the seemingly normal revolver. "This barrel has a hole in it. It wouldn't fire anything." He said, handing it to her to have a look. "Two holes, actually."

Jill blinked, looking at the holes and tilted her head.
Des smiled, watching.

Sarge picked up three magnums from the pile of pistols. "Alright then, now for some actual firing." He said, handing them the pistols. "The safety switch for this particular model of magnum is on the left side, so if you're right-handed, you can flick it with your thumb easily. If you're left handed- tough." He picked up a clip from the pile. "Also, these ones have an additional safety feature which means that you have to hold the eject clip button, located on the handle, in order to actually insert the clip." He told them, demonstating. "Get a clip inserted into your pistols and I'll teach you about practically using a magnum."

Ryu took a clip as well, doing just as he was told, first having to check what side it went in on.
