Robin awoke in his room, strething his wings to their fullest content which was now larger than they had been two years ago, but only by an inch. His wings were now a dark foresty green color, blending in with the rainforest around him. His castle, unlike some of the other structures he built, was on the ground and built just like the Aztec temples. Though, it was much larger and inside was modern thanks to magic. He himself was the same hight though his hair was now a dark green which was its origianal color when he was born and his skin was a bit more tan thanks to the morning and afternoon sun. No worry lines on his face were to be found, no fault in muscle build up were seen on his shirtless body, and he'd obtained that 6pack he'd always wanted. Instead of jeans, he was wearing a sort of loi cloth which he used for pj's.
His room was a royal suite, in which he shared with Kale. He turned to see if Kale was still asleep on his memory foam mattress with purple and blue blankets and sheets with pink pillows. Robin was smiling as she pulled back some of the sheets to see if Kale was hiding.

And there she was as usual, curled up into a ball near his side. Her tail was wrapped tightly around her ankles, and she seemed as content as ever. Surprisingly enough, the two years she'd spent in a forced silence hadn't made her any more depressed - infact it had seemed to make her brighter than ever. Although, the silence wasn't absolute - here and there the spell cast by her 'Dearest Auntie Sophie' wore down and allowed her to slip a few words in, and she was still able to make all sorts of sounds. Just...no real words. In English. Often words in mixed and fumbled languages were sputtered out in momments of aggrivation or joy, which did litte good to anyone really.
During this time away from her natural habitat Kale had gained back a healthy amount of weight, and was able to restore color to her skin. Even her hair had become of lighter color, and had was no longer abnormally pin straight.
In all honesty, the only time she ever seemed to grow the least bit upset, was around lunch. It was the time she usually fed the children at, and everyday when taking head count it seemed to surprise her that some were missing. Though, it was the same 26 who had been missing for the majority of those two years. Everyday, after that head count, she'd set the children up for lunch and then - following the exact same path- she would go to look for the missing children. It was a sorta cute scene, as she didn't seem exactly worried about them. But, in truth, it was rather sad to be an onlooker to the scene. Because it was almost as if she were stuck in a loop - repeating the same thing everyday with no avail.
But all that aside, for now Kale was fast asleep in her tight little ball that hid most of her night gown - which was decorated in swirls of blues, purples, and minty greens. And she didn't seem as if she'd willingly pop awake at any time too soon.

Robin smiled at his wife, stroking her hair for a while before ignoring the day's work ahead and lying down beside her, cuddling her as if she were a cat. Robin's wings were sunk into his back for now, a special magic thatDesper was always envious of and appeared as tattoos on his shoulder blades. He rested his mouth against the back of her head and the door opened on its own as it usually did in the morning. The reason why it did this was because Robin had programmed it to do so for he was on a regular schedule everyday. Some days he'd ignore it and spend an extra few minutes with his wife that he loved so dearly. On these days he hallf expected kids to walk in and bother them which was hard for Robin was rarely ever bothered by the children.

The sudden feeling of extra warmth settled into Kale's mind, and instead of reacting with a simple sigh or mumble, she allowed her eyes to flutter open gently. Blinking sleep from her eyes, she awaited the world before her to shift into focus before moving the rest of her body at all. Once everything seemed as it should have been, Kale yawned - a rather cute sound - before turning over to cuddle up against Robin. As her usual morning greeting, she licked his cheek softly, her tail beginning to wag.
Outside the door the sound of children - already having been awake for time now (As children will be children; up at the crack of dawn to torture parents) - running through the halls could be heard. Already so early they seemed caught up in a game of Hide-And-Seek.

Robin chuckled at the sound of their children, and licked Kale's cheek in return. "Ready to face the day ahead of us?" He always asked when she was awake. "My queen of the West?" He added, rubbing his nose against hers. He remembered the KAle that he had fallen in love with, pale, undead, a bit scary and bitchy. He looked upon her everymorning, amazed at how much he loved her and how much she'd changed. Looking actually healthy now.

As usual, Kale gaze an overdramatic sigh and stuck out her tounge - her usual response. But, smiling now, she returned the eskimo kiss and giggled slightly as she twirled a lock of his hair. It was never dictated wether or not this change in her was for the best; it was just a change. It was for sure if anything traumatic were to happen, she might have reverted to her old ways. That person was not dead, just locked away inside - somewhere she'd hopefully never bother anyone again. If the words could have been said, Kale probably would have asked Robin which girl he liked best; the undead, bitchy, morbid girl or the giggly, playful, cheerful person she was now. Reaching out her arms, Kale hugged Robin tightly, resting her head against his chest.

Robin chuckled at her reaction. "C'mon. You can stay in bed if you like but later on today we have to make an appearence at Des' place." Robin nodded toward a calendar on a wall. "You haven't seen her in a long while, and you circled and kissed that date which is today." HE smiled at her. HE had seen Des every weekend but the spouse was not allowed to come along.

Blinking a few times Kale shifted her position, crawling over Robin to get a better look at the calendar. Narrowing her eyes so she could see it better, she perked up suddenly and practically pounced on her side of the bed. After hitting the bed with a thud, she turned over on her side and grinned at Robin. Apparently, she was happy he had reminded her.

"So you can get up now and get there faster or we can let you lie here a bit more while I get the kids calmed down," He said, smiling as he sat up. He stood, closing the door gently and took off the loin cloth, looking for underwear and a paie of jeans.

"MmmMmmm," Kale replied, shaking her head. There came the sound of her roughly slapping a hand to her chest; her way of saying it was her responsibility. Hopping up, Kale stretched and yawned before turning her gaze to the floor. The side of the room she claimed as her own was a mess - though so much had changed about her, it seemed her habit of keeping mess would never change. It was impossible to clean anything on that part of the room, as she would hiss and snarl at whomever touched her stuff. Pulling off her nightgown, she began to shift through piles of clothing to find something wearable.

Robin found a good pair of clean briefs and sat on the bed, sliding them up his calves. His side was a bit messy, but nothing in comparrison to Kale's side for when one of the kids wanted to clean, he let them. Robin searched through his closet, looking for a black pair of jeans.

After shuffling through her clothing for a momment, Kale found a suitable bra and not long after a shirt that was - seemingly - clean. Slipping on the shirt, she began to dig around again. Upon unconvering what would seem to be a pair of Robin's jeans, she paused and sent a glance towards him. Sure, they'd be a little big on her and she'd most likely trip over the legs...but oh well. While his back was still turned, Kale slid into the jeans she had found with a smile on her face. After doing so, she knelt down and began to sift around uder the bed for a tie or scarf - the usual things she used as a belt.

"Kale, have you seen my j-oh! Here's my dark blue ones. I guess those'll do," Robin said, and slipped them on. He pulled out a jacket for Kale and one for himself as well. Walking out of his closet he looked at Kale, was about to say something then paused. Something was wrong with this picture. "Kale... are those..."

Kale tipped her head to one side, having difficulty hiding the smile that threatened to over take her face. "Whaaaaaat?" She managed to say, wincing slightly against the tiny shock in her throat. Her tail began to wag back and forth as she smiled at him, blinking innocently.

"Those are my jeans, aren't they?" Robin laughed, walking over to her and picking her up. "Don't worry, you can wear them," HE said and carried her out of the room. "But you owe me for it," Towards a stair well where most of the castle could hear him, he yelled, "Dog pile on Kale!!" And layed her down on the floor.

Kale shrieked as a number of small children - who had appeared from nowhere - suddenly piled ontop of her. "Mom!!" They shouted, playfully tugging at her ears.
Turning her attention to Robin, she gnashed her teeth at him before sitcking out her tounge.

Robin just grinned, and clapped his hands, waving away children. "Ok, ok, kids! Let your mother breathe!" HE said, laughing. "We have something to tell you!"

The kids all paused, simply staring at him for a momment - their usual reaction - before backing off. Kale sat up, fixing her shirt before turning to fixing her hair.
"What'cha gotta tell us?" One of the children, Pin, piped up as she raised an eyebrow.

"Your mother and I are going to see an old friend of ours," Robin began, glad that he had their undivided attention. "You may not remember her for it's been two years since you've seen her but," Robin paused for effect. "and remember, I can only bring two of you tops. We're going to see Auntie Dessie. Does anyone remember her?"

"Well, of course we do!" The children replied, some of them seeming offended that he thought they would forget. Then, they all fell silent - as if they had heard something only they could hear - before turning their backs to Robin and Kale and beginning to chatter amongst themselves; obviously trying to decide who would go.
