Dahl was hesitant, glancing at all three...four of his children. With a sigh, he turned his transparent back to them. "I'll be right back, kids." Once this had been said, he began to follow Des into the next room.

Enigma and her brothers all looked at each other. They weren't exactly sad that they had to watch their dad's back walk... float away again but were more curious as to why DES needed to talk to him.
Des looked behind her back, making sure no one was following and closed the door behind DAhl. "Dahl.. do you remember that day?" She asked curiously

Dahl fell silent, and the temperature in the room seemed to drop. Obviously, it was not a question he wished to answer. But, it was a question that had been asked; and all questions have an answer. "Yes," as he spoke, his voice was rigid - almost unwilling to speak the single word that left his mouth. Unwilling to have to pull up those painful memories.

"I know it was quite a scare, Dahl... and I know you don't want to remember it andyou don't have to..." Des said in a hushed voice. "But Jill is hurting more and more people since then, and all because I couldn't get to her sooner. I knew it was comming. I just didn't want to scare Skylar, or you," Des said, sighing.

Dahl's eyes narrowed, taking on the sharpness he was so very well known for. "You should have said something, Des. You should have told us ahead of time; it would have stopped this from happening. And now, what of the children? They'll be scarred for life after this. As if Skylar wasn't screwy enough."

Des sighed, hanging her head. "It came on faster than I expected, Dahl... I couldn't stop it even five minutes before she was alright. Then it would have been too late." She sighed again, running her fingers through her hair with frustration. "But... I have a way to get her back to normal... I hope..."

"She can't hurt you while you're a ghost.... right?" Des asked, looking to him just to onfirm that he understood or at least had an idea of where she was going on this.

"No, she can't." Dahl stated, nodding his head as if to confirm his own words. "She can't hurt me while I'm still dead..."

"Then I was hoping you'd help me trap her, talk to her... and then... let her go," Des said, with that special look in her expression that said, 'I have a plan but I don't want to tell you,' sort of deal.

The words were tossed about in his mind, seeming to be contemplated - broken down and rearraged in a way that was meant to discover any hidden meanings. There were plenty in there, but Dahl sighed anyways. "Alright. I'll help."

Des smiled, standing up. "Maybe... maybe we could get you a body, too?" She asked, hoping to cheer him up. "We won't do it right now... I have to build up some old muscles first... but soon the time will come," Des said, sighing. "Now, go talk to your kids," SHe said, opening the door.
((That a good time to stop?)
