With an angered sigh, Kale leaned back against the far wall of the lunch room, her head hanging slightly as she grumbled. It wasn't fair. Just because her cousins were two of the stupidest people on earth didn't mean that her uncle, who had actually been her favorite uncle up until his turn of events, had to dumb the two of them on her once he'd finally had enough of them. She wasn't their babysitter, after all. And the two of them were almost older than her. Besides, what did Uncle Cosmo want her to do with them? They were supposed to be on "Lock Down". One would suppose part of that was forcing Sabbath to go to school. No excuses. No questions asked. After all, Sabby had always been quite...well...how to put it....
She had always been a brat. Who threw a fit if she didn't get her way. But, her fits weren't shout, screamy little kid fits. Anymore. Her fits of anger normally caused someone a trip to the hospital. But for a different reason than Sabbath has wanted.
Kale's gaze drifted across the lunchroom to where the two of them sat. Well, no trouble from them...yet.
Sabbath tapped her fingers against the fake wood of the lunch table irritably. Her choppy dirty blond hair fell foreword into her face, causing her already fuming look to hold an even more dangerous tone to it. As was normal for her, she was decked out in little metal trinkets and bracelets. Ratty converse tapped against the floor, as her gaze drifted to wards the ceiling. So, for once, her dad had actually thought up a good punishment. Sending her and Tammy away. Ooh, so clever. This was going to be the worst four months of her life. Sabby slammed her head down on the desk, a zombie-like groan escaping her. "When do we get to go home?"
"Like, to our cousin's house? Or home, home?" The girl sitting beside Sabbath questioned, not bothering to look up from her notebook. Tammy brushed a lock of hair that hadn't made it into her braid behind her ear, still focused on her note book, where she was reviewing Alchemy notes. It was clear being away from home held little, of any, effect on the more level headed of the two. Unlike her sister, who was slamming her head against the table and worrying over absolutely nothing, the only thing that annoyed Tammy was the fact she had been sent away only because Sabby was going. Tammy gave a low grunt as her features momentarily contorted in agitation. She understood that she was normally the one to keep her sister in line, but that didn't mean she needed to be punished too. Tammy simply sighed, calming down again. "Sabby, would you cut that out," She asked as she looked at Sabby, who was low to the table, tapping her fingers and looking around in a paranoid way. "Your starting to annoy me."
