Her top hat fell to the floor, and then it showed, she no longer had the long hair with curls, but a shorter cut, very short in the back slanting forwards going to alittle past her chin. The tears slowly haulted, "How was it your fualt.?" she asked half stuttering trying to take in a clear breath.

It was clear in her eyes now that she was thinking of who would do somthing like so, "It was Des wasnt it." Was all she said clearly in a hard tone.

She again took in a deap beath thoughts racing through her head. She bit at her lower lip, it was ahbbit she had developed while she was gone, with David constantly doing it and all. "I wish I never left." she said softly in a whisper under her own breath, "I could have simply said the truth."

She looked down her hair falling to her eyes, then looked back up her eyes catching his, "Never mind." Something in her wanted to say that he couldnt love her abd Adrian at the same time, but she couldnt decide that. She thought about how selfish she would sund if she were to say that allowed,: 'if you want both of us then no. you love me or her. not both.' Her thoughts flooded into his mind, or thats what she tryed todo, send them to him. So she wouldnt sound so selfish, he would never know what she was talking about with the'truth' it was something she would put behind her, lock away. gone.

She looked down breaking the gaze almost as if dissapionted in his answer. "I dont even know who she is... All that i've heard is that she is just like me. Whci h I absolutly hate the thought of." she said getting her hat from the floor and placing it atop her head lightly.

Her sides whispered through her head, and she almost wanted todo what they said, but resisted. "Then let it be that way." She said turning and walking out, they went through alot together before. But as her mother said, 'peoples likes and dislikes change.'. "I barely know you anymore." She said closing the door behind her as she left, hands in pockets, tears dryed. She was so mature when it came to her work, and her friends. Then when around him it crumbled. crumbled to dust and it was like she was a child again.

Gary heard a click and looked down. The tape had pinged off of his rocket launcher. Rather than try and pick up the small piece of tape with his clawed hand, he pulled the rocket pack out. "Can't believe I didn't think of that sooner."
