"Oh, that's my vacation home. And my mother died and I finally came to power," Des tried to grin but just let it go, throwing her hands up into the air. "I hate it sometimes! The trees whisper to me but not like they had before." She rolled her eyes, and plopped down into a comfy chair. Not very royally either.

"I never knew the trees whispered to you." Ryu replied. "Sounds a lot like the living crystal creatures on my planet." He sat down in another chair across from her.

Des shrugged. "Well, I'm part of nature. That's what I rule over really. The peace between Nature and Humans." Des explained. "The trees will tell me when and where a person is hurting a tree and I will decide whether to take action or to just let them."

"Intresting. I'm not a natrual part of this planet, so I suppose I wouldn't be able to talk to them. The living crystal guard burial sites of our race, forming from the silicon in our brains." Ryu explained. "Not many have survived getting too close to one of them."

"I see," Des nodded, then went on to explain, "The thing that you're not getting is that a selected few of us can hear the trees whisper to us." She told him and smiled. "Which is why my family is royalty. We were the first."

"The royal family of my planet is just a bunch of genetic mutants. We were voted in, though." Ryu replied.(Messed up politics they have there..Constitutional monarchical communism.) "Oh, and in about two hours, I'll be in the hospital from viruses that the immune system is supposed to fight off- But you see, thanks to our nanotechnology, we haven't developed immune systems for centuries. There's a silver liquid in us that keeps out germs..But in two hours, their batteries run out. Hopefully, someone in here will be able to give a spleen or two.."
